What do I know – about preparing a living trust for those we leave behind.

When was the last time you looked at your will or living trust. We often do them once, then forget about them. But the truth is we should review them every 5-8 years. The person you put in charge back then may not be the right person now. Do you have too many cooks in the kitchen over seeing your estate (meaning are all your children executors), or one main chef?

In this episode, I talk about a new way to prepare this special document […]

What do I know – about preserving your legacy

We all want to know our lives matter at the end of our lives, that we made a difference. This is part of our legacy. But how do we preserve it? In this episode of “What do I know?” we’ll be talking about it and how you can preserve your life’s story.

And, should you be interested, I creative a pamphlet on several ways to creatively leave a piece of you behind so you’ll never be forgotten. If you’d like a copy, just email me […]

What do I know – about the topic of death

We Americans love to talk about every subject from politics to sex, but there’s one we shy away from – death. Why? Is it because we fear the unknown, our mortality, or the loss of someone we love. But I have learned there is an art to dying to create a beautiful passing.

I’d love to know your thoughts on this subject. We’ll be delving into this in the upcoming episodes.

What do I know – seeing through the eyes of others

How do you feel when you receive a compliment? If you’re like me, more often than not, you cringe. Why? Because they’re seeing something wonderful that you’ve failed to recognize. But after years of self-deprecation, I’m learning to see “through the eyes of others” and be grateful for what they recognized in me that I didn’t know existed.

How do you handle compliments? Especially when they don’t resonate. I’d love to know.

What do I know – about loving them through it.

I’m developing new content but it’s been tricky with my role as “Grammie” these past 2 months in Austin. My daughter, Lauren, gave birth to a precious baby boy, with another 20-month-old boy needing just as much attention. But as I was going through my archives, I found this story that I feel is even more relevant today than when posted two years ago.

We’ve all had difficult people in our lives who may not be easy to love. Sometimes they’re a family member. Often […]

What do I know – about asking for help

As the only girl in a family of four kids, I learned early to do things on my own and became fiercely independent. But as time marched on, I found this to be a detriment at times. We’re not meant to walk this earth alone. We’re meant to help one another, and accept help as well. How much easier would my life have been if I just asked when I needed assistance.

When have you sat isolated, besides with COVID19, where your life could have […]
